All rights reserved ‘Benoveor’

Both Charlie & I were brought up with dogs. We are a small kennel & fell in love with Goldens over thirty years ago. We got the 'show bug' back in 1991, competing with our Golden Retriever - Chester aka 'Gwyngala Ambassador'. Our daughter very successfully competed in the Junior Handling classes. It was in 1996 that our first two welshie boys; litter brothers (Rolo & Blaze)came to live at 'Benoveor'.

Vicky had tremendous fun with 'Kylowen Keverne Of Benoveor' (Rolo) winning well in both Breed, KCJO Stakes & Handling classes at Championship Shows. Sadly 2009 was a very hard year for us; we said goodbye to three of our beautiful welsh boys in four months. Rolo, Blaze & Mel (Rolo's son) were all so individually special & will stay in our hearts forever.

2010 was a mixed year... January saw Brinkley our new welshie puppy come to join us at 'Benoveor'. In April Vicky 'flew the nest' taking Riggs & Emmett with her. Sadly on the last day of November we said a tearful goodbye to our special Golden 'Forrest' (Chester's one & only son); just 5 days short of his 11th birthday. A beautiful gentleman who will never be forgotten so for the first time in over 30 years the house seemed rather empty with no Goldens to share our home.

Emmett missed Granny (me) so much that he is now back at 'Benoveor' loving every moment! Brinkley's breeders Tim & Honor Harrison delighted us when they allowed 'Dalton' (from a repeat mating of Brinkley's litter) to also join us at 'Benoveor'.

Vicky & I jointly own the 'Benoveor' affix. Both of us take an active role within the dog community. Myself (Secretary) & Vicky (Vice Chairman) retired from our posts at 'Cornwall Gundog Club' to take on more challenging roles with 'Camborne Redruth Canine Society'. I am their Secretary & Vicky the Treasurer.

Vicky has taught many juniors how to handle their dogs; two even winning their age groups at the Richmond Finals. Vicky also enjoys judging most gundog breeds at Open Level.

Finally a big thank you to Charlie (the backbone of it all)......without who none of this would have been possible. Charlie had for some time drawn the 'short straw' staying home to look after things while Vicky & I campaigned the 'Glenbrows Boys'. What a star he really was!!!

2012 saw Charlie back in the show ring having fun campaigning our first ever bitch 'Ivy'. Midland Counties Championship Show crowned the year with Dalton winning our first CC with BOB in Welsh Springers for 'Benoveor'.

Now we are half way through 2014 having an amazing time. Ivy is now back in the show after taking time out for maternal duties.

Please feel free to look at our website & comment if you so wish, we would love to know what you think of our team.

Kind Regards

Jan, Vicky & Charlie Reynolds
